mother's day party of 2

I had my 1st Mother's Day with Charlie!

We went to Starkville on Friday night so that we could spend time with Mimi and Nana.

And Kyle had to swing in a baseball game.
Nana and Pops kept the boys so Kyle and I could go.

Mimi insisted that Jonah ride on her Cadillac. He loved it.

Mimi and her offspring.

This is the only way I could get a picture with Mimi and her 2 great-grandboys.

Charilie is loving it!

We came back Saturday night so that Kyle could be back in time to teach FPU at church.
Later that day. my parents came over while I went to a movie to see Mom's Night Out with the girls in my small group.

Every day is Mother's day! So blessed to have a wonderful mom and mother-in-law!

my 1st mother's day

We traveled to Starkville the Friday night before Mother's Day to meet up with my in-laws who came up on Saturday and brought Mimi.

the 4 generation picture.

He loves his Mimi. She loves him too.

Nana and Pops getting some play time in!

I love this boy!

We came home that night. Then Sunday morning we went to my parents church.

Granny loves to show off J.

My bundle of joy!

You can't take enough pictures!

Granddaddy, Granny, and Jonah

Our family

I came home and took Jonah for a run and stopped by the swings! He loved it!

We all had to take pictures!

My parents came down to our house that night to go out to eat for Mother's Day.

We used our seat over and it was a hit. It is a must have. You get hook toys to it and keep germs away.

Happy Mother's Day.
It was a very busy weekend but we got to see everyone. So very thankful for my family.

happy "expecting" mother's day

For Mother's Day, Kyle went to see his mom in Meridian and my mom and I went to Starkville for a little get-a-way at the McCoy game day house.

We relaxed and watched t.v. Then we went to the shops downtown and shopped, then got poured on! But it was still fun to show mom around the city that Kyle loves so very much.

Kyle came through Starkville on Mother's day and gave me this!
At this time, I was coming down from my carb high. So he got me an emergency Chick-fil-a gift for when I needed my fix.

I asked him "who told you to do this?" He was offended! I've gotten a Mother's Day card in the past from my pups so I took it back. He remembers special days and is a big planner! Knowing him, he got this 2 weeks before Mother's day! I love him!

Kyle brought Boomer by to see me! Kyle took Boom with him and I kept Bailey with me.

I was about 21 weeks here. Mom loves touching my belly. Just you watch, every picture she does the same thing!
Happy Mother's Day to all past, present, and future moms!

we love our mommies!

so for mother's day, we told kyle's mom that we would not make it down to celebrate with the family. well, we lied. kyle had not spent a mother's day with his mom since we've been married.
on saturday morning, my mom had a mother/daughter banquet at her church. good food and a good message from the preacher's wife.

my mom knew what we were up to! so after the lunch, i headed home to pick up kyle and head to meet his family for dinner 3 hours south. only his sister and dad knew the plan! wahahaha!

kyle and i got to the restaurant right in time for dinner. we hid by the door and said "well hey ethel ann!!" her look was PRICELESS!!! she definitely didn't see us!! i had a new do as i had just chopped off 10 inches of my hair to give to locks of love! double shock!!! (i had to play the part! ha!) we are sneaky people!

we had dinner on the reservoir in jackson, ms. i had no clue the reservoir had such a pretty view! why did it take 3 years for kyle to take me there? i might have moved if i would've known it was this pretty (yeah right!)

on the way home we passed by where the tornando hit yazoo city. YIKES! so glad i was not on I-55 when this twister hit!
